This shoot was something I’ve had in mind since I first played Resident Evil 6 and I decided to Cosplay Sherry. I really wanted to do a winter snow shoot given that Jake and Sherry spend a good chunk of their campaign outside in the snow. I got a day off from work in February thanks to a major snow storm here in Toronto and my awesome friend Stillvisions got in touch with me and asked if I wanted to do shoot. In a matter of just a couple of hours I got into costume and we met up. We took these photos not far from my house in a little wooded area. It's actually on the other side of a small grove where Stillvisions shot my Halloween Rei costume last fall.
We were faced with a couple of feet of snow so it was pretty tough conditions to work with. My boots had heels so it was really treacherous to walk around and the wind and snow was still coming down while we were shooting which was really hard on us. I actually had to call it quits with this shoot fairly quickly because despite this costume being fairly warm, my ears, toes and fingers became quite numb. It was worth it for the photos though! Another awesome dream shoot in the books. X3
My only regret is that I didn't have a Jake.
(who Cosplayed Edonia Jake with me at Youma) is from the US so doing a shoot together in the winter would be tricky. I wish I knew a local Jake. I need more local RE Cosplay friends. (^^);;
Thanks again to my wonderful friend
for making my coat for Sherry! I absolutely love it! (^_^) It's been a real blast Cosplaying Sherry. I'm looking forward to wearing my China Sherry costume next month at Anime North.
I have so much gratitude for
going out and shooting with me on that cold day in February. He also took some photos of me in my Lisa Garland (Silent Hill Shattered Memories) costume so it was quite the busy photoshoot day!
